About Us

Our Story

Jane has provided speech and language therapy to children, teens and young adults for over 10 years. The Speech Language Pathologist that work at Jane Johnson Speech Therapy provides quality speech and language services, including evaluations and therapy to successfully promote the growth and development of each child by addressing the needs of the whole child.

Specific services that may be provided are: screenings, evaluations, assessments, observations, collaboration, planning, implementing, and monitoring, intervention and consultation with the education team members, including families and other professionals, service coordinators, transition planning, advocacy, direct service and treatment and attend meetings when necessary.

It is our mission to provide therapy to match each individual client’s needs thus enabling solutions that allow our clients to reach their full potential in all areas of communication.

At Jane Johnson Speech Therapy, Inc., we will evaluate each individual to determine strengths and weaknesses, address family concerns, and develop an individual treatment plan that will incorporate the most appropriate therapy approach and techniques for that client. In addition to addressing the client’s needs, we will educate families on the techniques that are utilized during each session additionally, providing ideas of carryover throughout daily activities. Treatment is provided through play-based, child-centered, family-friendly approaches.

Jane Johnson Speech Therapy

Jane Johnson – President/Speech Language Pathologist

I have earned both my B.S. and M.S. in Speech Pathology at California State University, Sacramento. My clinical experience includes working with all ages in many settings, including home, clinic, and schools.   I have dedicated my career to early intervention, Down Syndrome, apraxia, autism, pediatric speech & language therapy, and parent education. Previously I was an Area Manager with EBS Healthcare (northern California & Los Angeles areas). I was responsible for training & supervising Clinical Fellows (CF’s), Speech Pathology Assistant, and EI therapist. I have received six ASHA ACE awards. I served on the board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Information Alliance.

I served on the Sacramento Area Speech and Hearing Board as President (SASHA, 2011-2013, 2008-2010) and also served on the board for the Sacramento Area Speech and Hearing Association (SASHA) for over ten years. I am currently on the Advisory committee for the California State University- Sacramento. I am a part-time faculty member in the Mary Jane Rees Speech and Hearing Clinic at California State University-Sacramento. I participated in the ASHA’s mentor/mentee program, and I am currently a member on two of ASHA’s Divisions (1 & 11). I am currently participating in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) trainee program at UC Davis Mind  Institute.

Angelie Sebastian – Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Angelie Sebastian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, as well as, her Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license from California State University, Sacramento. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and helping them meet their full potential. She has an awesome way of building rapport and making therapy sessions fun, yet productive. She likes putting her creative skill to use, whenever possible. She also loves animals, movies, anything Disney, traveling, and going food adventures. Her dream is to set foot on every continent and one day own a corgi, named Kimchi.

Lauren Turner – Speech Language Pathologist’s Assistant

Lauren has been working for Jane Johnson Speech Therapy since 2011.  She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology Sacramento State in 2008.  She enjoys watching movies, traveling, and eating a variety of types of food

Jenae Haynes – Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Jenae is an accomplished professional possessing exceptional therapy application and administration with solid and progressive experience in the Speech and Language Pathology field. Highly skilled in effectively collaborating with both parents and clients to reach personal and client therapy goals. She is passionate in working with children of all ages. Jenae have worked with clients in a clinical setting and both public and non-public schools who come from a wide variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. The majority of the clients she worked with have a medical diagnosis of Autism but she have experience working with children with Apraxia, Down syndrome as well as those with a diagnosis of ED.

Jacinta Wade, M.A. CF-SLP – Speech Language Pathologist

Jacinta completed the Postbaccalaureate program in Communication Disorders at Eastern Washington University and received her Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University in 2013.  She has experience with children of all ages as well as teens and adults.  Areas of particular interest include Childhood Apraxia of Speech, stroke and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Shari Lambert – Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Shari Lambert is a licensed Speech Pathologist and a mother of two. She embraces individuality and greatness in every client that she serves. Her goal is to professionally and effectively treat individuals while spreading compassion, hope, and some speech/language one person at a time!! She enjoys building lifelong rapports with her clients and families as well as challenging them to reach their fullest potential!!

Monique Chib – Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Monique has an extensive back ground working with children and adults with a wide range of different speech and language delays. She serves individuals who have been diagnosed with Autism, Apraxia of Speech and those who have mild to severe articulation, receptive, expressive and pragmatic language delays. In addition to providing speech therapy at Jane Johnson’s Speech Clinic, Monique is also in charge of delivering quality speech services to children who have been diagnosed with autism in the elementary school setting where she works. She is highly nurturing and caters to each of her client’s individual needs. With a kid at heart personality, she really knows how to bring fun into each speech therapy session. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Monique moved to Northern California shortly after high school where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific. She also possesses a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Monique is a self-proclaimed “foodie”. She enjoys the good things in life like ice cream and cookies, as well as spending time with her family, watching movies and traveling. Additionally, she is a proud mom to her son Simba, who is a Jack Russel Terrier.

Victoria Loredo – Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Victoria  attended CSU Sacramento, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She then attended San Joaquin Delta College where she received her SLPA certificate. Her interest of speech pathology sparked when her younger brother received speech therapy services. This led her to pursue a career in speech pathology. She has an ABA background and has recently been working with early intervention. She enjoys exploring different techniques and activities to use during therapy. On her free time, Victoria enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and going to the gym.
